Socialthing has a really gorgeous 404 page while they gear up for version 2.0. [link]
This has me a bit excited about the possibility of MySpace integration (something that no firm seems to have been able to pull off yet) but we’ll have to wait and see. I hadn’t realized until it was down how much I was addicted to Socialthing. It must have been the most anti-social piece of software I have ever used.
While games and social networks had me staying in all day instead of going out SocialThing actually had me checking updates while I was out. Rudely scrolling through status updates and tweets at the bar in front of my friends. The site being down is for the better for the time being.
